Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The time has come for us all to accept the tools that God has given us (and continues to give us) in the Sacraments, and prepare for the battle that rages around us. I call to mind the St. Michael Prayer, which really lays out for us the battleground and the heavenly help we need.
Where is the first battle pitched? Well, I'll borrow a line from a comic strip called Pogo from about 30 years ago..."We have met the enemy and they is us!"
